products ranging for high quality saddlery products, leather belts, rubber mats for doors
and cars to shoe upper leathers to shoe uppers
The growth of Northern Tannery has been steadily progressive keeping
pace with the trends and demands of the market. in 1970, vegetable tanned harness leather
production was undertaken solely for manufacturing saddlery products, dog/cat collars and
belts. All kinds of shoe upper leathers especially security, industrial and military types
were produced in 1975. But in the year 1985 we specialized in manufacturing shoe uppers
for security, industrial and military purpose with our increased power capacity of 800 KWA
Northern Rubber Works an affiliate company set up in 1980 produces
all kinds of rubber sheets for footwear purpose. Later in 1990, it started the manufacture
of rubber car mats & door mats which are in great demand in the European market.
Northern Tannery implements and follows strict quality control
programmes right form the acquiring of raw materials through to every production process
to the final finished products.
Northern Tannery guarantees quality finished products and is all set
to achieve its goal - ISO 9002 in the very near future.
Northern Tannery was established in the year 1958, with the primary
production of vegetable tanned sole leather.
